ABOUT TLC DATA SYSTEMS

TLC Data Systems is a wholly owned and operated QLD IT systems integrator.
Founded in 2002, headquartered in Milton, Queensland with affiliated partners throughout Australia. Today we specialise in delivering IT professional services, infrastructure and business software solutions to our vast customer base. We tailor our IT solutions to meet our customers’ needs,
deadlines and budgets.
With over 25 years combined experience, TLC Data Systems staff have been the preferred IT services partner for dozens of organisations who have trusted our peoples experience and their wide range of IT products and services knowledge. Our strength lies in our ability to understand the IT needs of our customers and to provide appropriate cost effective solutions.

TLC Online is our E-Commerce tool which compliments our Sales Staffs strengths by enabling them and our clients to be more proactive in sourcing peripheral style products as well as providing access to trading histories and general account activity. TLC Online’s future developments will include a Contracts Module, a Professional Services module and a Software Licencing Module.

TLC ONLINE TERMS AND CONDITIONS(ABN 41100 729 977 )

The following terms and conditions apply to all goods purchased via the web from TLC Online.

DEFINITIONS OF TERMS:
  1. “Customer” – means that the purchaser of the Goods is a person, business or company.
  2. “Goods” (including Software) – means any products supplied to a Customer via TLC Online or its authorised agent.
ORDERS AND DELIVERIES
  1. All orders placed through TLC Online are subject to confirmation and acceptance by TLC Data Systems.
  2. TLC Data Systems may vary prices, in the event of price changes or mistakes made by suppliers on reasonable prior notice to the customer. If TLC Data Systems requests payment for increased prices, the customer may cancel the order by giving notice to TLC Data Systems within 5 working days of the announcement of the increase.
  3. A Courier authorised by TLC Data Systems will deliver the goods to the Customer to the address specified in the order, within the agreed time frame, subject to availability. Where the Goods are not available TLC Data Systems will notify the customer as soon as possible.
  4. There must be either the Customer or Customer’s authorised agent (with photo ID) to take receipt of goods.
  5. Delivery times advised are estimates and TLC Data Systems will not be liable for any loss, damage or delay incurred by the Customer. Unless other arrangements have been made, TLC Data Systems will make part-deliveries, if, at placement of order, only some of the stock is available.
  6. When placing an order via TLC Online, we require a physical street address to expedite your delivery. Please also provide a land-line phone number. Delivery cannot be made to a Post Office Box.
PAYMENT
  1. The price of all Goods to the Customer will be TLC Data System’s quoted price on invoice. This is the final price quoted on invoice and is inclusive of goods, taxes, surcharges, shipping costs, agent’s charges, customs tax, sales tax, excise tax, stamp duty governmental charges, fees, levy or impost. Customers are advised our prices are regularly updated on TLC Online, but are subject to change without notice.
  2. If the customer does not have an account in place with TLC Data Systems, payment of goods is required prior to delivery to the Customer, unless otherwise agreed in writing by an authorised person of TLC Data Systems.
  3. Payment can be made via credit card (Visa, Bankcard, MasterCard). Your order and credit card details are safe and secure, TLC Online uses E-Sec’s Internet payment service gateway to provide a secure environment for the authorisation of credit card transactions over the internet. Confidential information including Customer credit card details are not stored at TLC Online or anywhere on the Internet, the only access to this data is made by TLC Online’s merchant bank.. All personal and credit card information provided to TLC Online is also encoded using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology.
  4. In our efforts to stop credit card fraud and to protect our Customers the following is strictly adhered to:-
    1. TLC Online records your IP address, the exact date and time of your order on our database.
    2. Repeated failure to obtain authorisation from the relevant credit card authorities may result in details of the transaction being automatically referred to relevant authorities.
    3. Customers will be required to provide the following identification with their first order from TLC Online. A faxed copy of the front and back of the credit card and a current drivers licence or passport that matches the delivery address.
    4. Further orders may be subject to random verification.
    5. Customer’s shippingdetails will be verified using various means before goods can be forwarded to the customer.
    6. Any suspected fraud will be reported to the police and the credit card issuer.
INSPECTION, ACCEPTANCE, OWNERSHIP

Upon delivery it is the Customer’s responsibility to inspect all Goods.
  1. It is the Customers responsibility to test or inspect software upon the purchased software being authorised by TLC Data Systems for downloading by the Customer, and must, within 5 working days of delivery or downloading (as the case may be) inform TLC data Systems of any fault or defect with said software.
  2. Once the Goods are delivered to the Customer and payment received, ownership will transfer to the Customer, and any responsibility of loss, theft or damage therein.
  3. Until such time as payment is made to TLC data Systems the goods will remain the absolute property of TLC Data Systems. Title of software remains with TLC Data Systems and/or the applicable third party licensor(s) at all times.
CANCELLATION OF ORDERS

To cancel orders an administration fee of $25 is applicable, the remainder of the outstanding amount will be reimbursed by cheque or credit card refund.

GOODS, RETURNS AND REFUNDS

Any Goods delivered damaged (in transit), defective or incorrectly ordered, (up to 5 working days from the date of purchase) to a Customer are considered DOA (Dead on Arrival). Restocking fees may apply to items ordered incorrectly.
  1. In the case of DOA Goods, TLC Data Systems must be notified, either by phone, e-mail or in-writing, advising:
    1. Date of purchase
    2. Invoice number
    3. Serial number of the goods
    4. Description of fault, defect.
  2. A Returns Authorisation Number (RA) will be issued by TLC Data Systems and must accompany all relevant paperwork.. Any refunds will not be paid until such time as goods returned have been receipted in our warehouse and inspected.
  3. Refunds will not be paid on goods that have been opened, damaged or soiled.
  4. The RA number should be clearly written on an adhesive label and placed prominently on the outside of the shipping carton. We request that our Customer’s do not write directly on the carton, but use the adhesive label. If the authorised RA number cannot be identified the Goods will be returned immediately at the Customer’s expense.
  5. Arrangements will be made to have the goods returned to either the TLC Data Systems warehouse or its authorised agent.
  6. TLC Data Systems will credit or replace the goods within 10 working days of its receipt (exceptions to this may occur due to circumstances beyond TLC Data Systems’ control).
  7. TLC Data Systems will not be liable for any damage or defects to Goods that have been caused by improper storage, warehousing or transport, or by neglect, abuse of improper use, installation, and maintenance of unauthorised repair of TLC Data Systems’ products.
NOTE: Some items on TLC Online will be clearly marked “Not Returnable” this means that the item cannot be returned if unwanted or ordered incorrectly.

TLC DATA SYSTEMS PRIVACY AND SECURITY POLICY

TLC Data Systems is committed to protecting our Customer’s right to their privacy. Therefore, information received from our Customer is used primarily to expedite orders and provide a faster and more efficient service.

INFORMATION USAGE AND CUSTOMER PROTECTION
  1. Customer’s name, e-mail address and delivery address are required to comply with and confirm orders.
  2. On occasion, TLC Data Systems may use an Industry standard technology called a “Cookie” to collect information about how our Customers use our site. This information is collected to help TLC Data Systems serve our Customers more efficiently and the information gained is not used by any third party.
  3. If agreed to by our Customer we keep you notified via TLC Online and your email address of the latest IT information, upgrades new technology and advancements in the IT industry.
  4. Customer’s placing orders or accessing their account can be secure in the knowledge that TLC Online encrypts all information via SSL (Secure Service Software).
  5. TLC Data Systems does not sell, exchange, rent or trade any Customer information to third parties.
  6. TLC Data Systems uses confidential information from the Customer solely for the purpose of the Sales Contract
  7. TLC Data Systems complies with the National Privacy Principles and the Privacy Act 1998. Any and all information collected at this site will be kept strictly confidential.
  8. TLC Online uses a unique identifier based on your e-mail address and a password, you complete when placing your order including delivery address and contact details.
SECURE COMMUNICATION VIA TLC ONLINE

All transactions on TLC Online are encrypted using the SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption system. SSL codes information transferred between our Customer and the server and scrambles this information to any person/persons attempting to intercept this information.

Agents or contractors of TLC Data Systems who have access to your personal details and company information are required to keep the information confidential and not use it for any purpose other than to carry out the services they have been asked to perform on behalf of TLC Data Systems.

DISCLOSURE TO THIRD PARTY

TLC Data Systems does not sell, exchange, trade or rent our Customer’s personal information to any other parties, however from time to time, TLC Data Systems may provide aggregate statistics regarding our Customers, sales, traffic patterns and related site information to reputable third-party vendors, but at no time will these statistics include personal Customer identification information.

TLC Data Systems is committed at all times to protecting our Customer’s privacy. We use the information gathered on our site to help make our Customer’s Online procurement experience as simple and efficient as possible.





CONSENT TO TLC DATA SYSTEMS BY OUR CUSTOMER

When using TLC Online the Customer consents to the gathering and usage of information provided by them. Should, at any stage, TLC Data Systems make changes to its Privacy Policy, notification will be placed on our web site to keep our Customer’s constantly informed. HOW TO PREPARE A QUOTE
  1. You will need to login before you can create a quote or use a basket. To login in now click here.
  2. Add the products you require a quote for to your basket. This can be done by clicking the basket icon when you have highlighted a product from a category list or by clicking the "Add" button when you have a product detail screen open.
  3. Click the "My Basket" menu item at the top of the screen and click the "Quote" button.
  4. You will now be required to select the delivery address or add a new delivery address so that freight can be calculated.
  5. The quote will be displayed and can be printed using the print option in your browser. When you have finished viewing the quote, simply close the quote window.
Note: From the "Your Basket" page you can save your basket so you can easily order the quote at a later date.
